Please make sure that you have the necessary identity documents and visa to enter Germany and the Schengen countries. Before your trip, please also ensure to comply with current Corona/COVID-19 regulations in Germany. We encourage participants to take advantage of public transport to travel to the conference, and consider offsetting the environmental impact.

Arrival by Plane

We recommend arrival/departure at/from the nearby Leipzig-Halle (LEJ) airport. Short 10 min train rides departing every 30 min connect LEJ airport to Halle main train station. Halle can be also reached by train from Berlin (BER) airport in 2 h, and from Frankfurt (FRA) airport in 3-4 h.

Arrival by Train

Train tickets and connections are available at the DB website. Please use "Halle (Saale) Hbf" as your final destination in the search browser. Tickets can be purchased online and from vending machines located at the platforms. Note that tickets are generally cheaper when purchased in advance.
